Leaves and stones

The Andean landscape reaches an intimate dimension in those paramuno or savannah fragments that enhance the humid vegetation of mosses and frailejones, sometimes seen through the window or as an autonomous entity, and always with a discreet palette of subtle and poetic colors. He also paints angels emerging from a chromatic haze or crucifixions in vaporous atmospheres bathed in gold and voyeuristic visions in domestic interiors seen through old doors and windows recycled from urban demolitions, which retain the rigors of his utilitarian journey.
